Pictopia is a visual guide which is a compilation of 400 graphics and 200 Quicktime movies of a social-political nature. The striking, often hard-hitting graphic visuals of this book and the powerful messages they convey, challenge us to question our perceptions of society and encourage us to consider the contradictions within it. The though-provoking images within these book present global issues such as racism, drugs, terrorism, inequality, poverty, war, destruction, life, death, war, discrimination, animal rights and domestic violence amongst others. All the images are accompanied with texts, which explain the different subjects and themes discussed.

It contains a CD Rom which contains 400 images of the book in vector format, as well as reproduction rights to the 200 QuickTimes films.
