Résumé

Derived from the well-known, bestselling series, "The AudioPro Home Recording Course Volumes One-Three", this is one out of a series of six books which specifically covers producing music with digital audio software. Up-to-date and comprehensive, this Serious Music & Audio Recording Techniques guide explains the myriad of choices available in the ever-changing world of DAW-based recording systems. Unlike many other titles that focus on specific applications, this book is meant to be timeless and remain fresh through many revisions of various software applications: it explains what the applications do based on the very physics of their operation regardless of changes in GUI and software features. Packed with expert techniques for digitally producing music using any software application, this book is written in a style that is accessible to beginners and useful to experienced professionals as well. As a part of the S.M.A.R.T. guide series, it offers you an education on classic and modern techniques for professional audio production. The combination of easy-to-understand explanations on how to make excellent recordings and a DVD that aurally and visually illustrates the concepts contained in the text creates a unique and valuable learning experience that will make an immediate impact on your music creation.
