LC/MS
A Practical User's Guide
Marvin C. McMaster - Collection Wiley-Interscience
Résumé
Presents technical data in an easily understood format, explains how to keep LC/MS systems up and running, and shows how to interpret and quantitate the mass spectral data using proven spectral databases, without devolving into a university-style course curriculum.
- Takes a purely practical approach to using and maintaining LC/MS systems
- Introduces the reader to quadrupole and ion trap analyzers, which make up the bulk of the equipment being sold for laboratory and analytical studies
- Presents technical data in an illustrated, easily understood format
- Explains how to keep systems up and running
- Shows how to interpret and quantitate mass spectral data using proven spectral databases
L'auteur - Marvin C. McMaster
Marvin C. McMaster, PhD, is a consultant and adjunct professor of chemistry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, teaching courses on HPLC, GC/MS, and laboratory computing. He is a former researcher and product developer for DuPont, Kraft Foods, and Ciba-Geigy, and previously worked as a technical sales support specialist for instrument companies. Dr. McMaster is the author of HPLC: A Practical User's Guide and coauthor, with Christopher McMaster, of GC/MS: A Practical User's Guide (both from Wiley).
