Written in a lucid manner, this textbook comprehensively covers both conventional and non-conventional treatment schemes for water and wastewater treatment. Collection, transportation and distribution aspects of drinking water supply systems are presented along with wastewater collection systems.This comprehensive textbook highlights the fundamental concepts and design principles related to water and wastewater engineering. She received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from The John Hopkins University. She worked as an Instructor and Research Assistant at The John Hopkins University (1990-1997). She has published more than fifty papers in journals and conferences of national and international repute. Her areas of research include water quality and treatment, environmental impact and risk assessment, solid and hazardous waste management and environmental engineering.
