L'auteur - Gregory N. Mankiw

Gregory N. Mankiw est professeur d'économie et titulaire de la Chaire Robert M. Beren à l'Université de Harvard. Il y enseigne la macroéconomie tant en premier qu'en second cycle. Il participe activement à la vie académique et aux débats politiques. Ses travaux de recherche couvrent un large champ de la macroéconomie et vont de l'ajustement des prix à la croissance économique en passant par le comportement du consommateur, les marchés financiers, ou encore les politiques monétaire et budgétaire. Outre sa charge d'enseignement à l'Université de Harvard, il a été chercheur au National Bureau of Economic Research, membre du Brookings Panel on Economic Activity, et conseiller de la Federal Reserve Bank de Boston et du Bureau du Budget du Congrès Américain. Entre 2003 et 2005, il a présidé le Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) auprès du Président des États-Unis.
