Biographie de Alessandro Morbidelli
Dr. Alessandro Morbidelli is a researcher in astronomy at the Observatoire de la Cote d'Azur, Nice, France and has worked extensively in the following fields: theory of Hamiltonian systems, dynamics of asteroids and trans-Neptunian objects, origin and evolution of near-Earth objects, and primordial sculpting of the Solar System. He has been assistant editor of the journal Icarus responsible for papers on dynamics since January 2000 and is the recipient of the bronze medal of the Conseil National de la Recherche Scientifique, the Young Scientist Scientific Award of the European Geophysical Society and the Urey Prize of the Division for Planetary Sciences of the American Astronomical Society. In addition, the asteroid 5596 1991PQ10 is named Morbidelli in his honour.
