Jean Hollis Weber has a Master of Science degree and more than 20 years of experience planning, writing, editing, indexing, and testing user manuals and online help for computer software and hardware. A technical publications consultant for the past 12 years, Jean has worked with clients, written books, taught short courses in technical writing and editing, and presented parts of graduate and undergraduate courses at several Australian universities. She maintains several web sites, including one for technical editors and one about OpenOffice.org.
