Métamorphose de la finitude

Ce livre part d’ un constat philosophique : nul n’ est au monde s’ il naît au monde. Le dogme de la résurrection des corps restera en effet un mot vide tant qu’ on ne le rapportera pas philosophiquement à un mode de l’ expérience : la naissance. Nicodème, déjà, en avait interrogé le sens : « Comment un homme peut-il une seconde fois entrer dans le ventre de sa mère et naître ? » (Jn 3, 4). Confrontée à la philosophie contemporaine (Husserl, Heidegger, Sartre, Merleau-Ponty, Deleuze… ), une phénoménologie de la naissance corporelle [d’ « en bas »] fera donc office de paradigme à une théologie de la renaissance spirituelle et charnelle [d’ « en haut »]. Car la « Résurrection change tout » en christianisme – monde et temps bien sûr (finitude), mais aussi notre propre corps transformé dans la figure du Christ transfiguré. Puissions-nous alors en recevoir la forme pour en être « in-form?, puisque de la manière dont aujourd’ hui je vis mon corps (naissance, sexualité, mort) dépend la façon dont demain je ressusciterai charnellement en Dieu. De « l’ analytique christique de l’ angoisse, de la souffrance et de la mort » [Le passeur de Gethsémani], l’ ouvrage passe, comme en un second volet pouvant être lu indépendamment du premier, à « l’ analytique de la résurrection comme mode d’ être de la (re)naissance » [Métamorphose de la finitude]. Ce dont le Fils pâtit, il en opère ici le passage vers son Père qui, dans la force de l’ Esprit, en accomplit pour nous la métamorphose.

This book exposes a philosophical observation: no one is of this world if he is born into this world. The dogma of the resurrection of the flesh will remain a void notion as long as it does not refer, philosophically, to a mode of experience: that of birth. Nicodemus, even then, questioned the signification: "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" (St. John, 3, 4). In the light of contemporary philosophy (Husserl, Heidegger, Sartre, Merleau-Ponty, Deleuze...) a phenomenology of corporeal birth 'below' thus serves as a paradigm to a theology of spiritual and carnal renaissance 'above'. For, the 'Resurrection changes everything' in Christianity - the world and time of course, (finitude), but also our own bodies transformed in the figure of the transfigured Christ. If only we could receive the form to be 'in-formed', since the way I live my body today (birth, sexuality, death) depends on the way I will reincarnate tomorrow in God. From the Christic analysis of 'anguish, suffering and death', (the 'passer' of Gethsemane), the work moves on to a sort of second section that can be read independently from the first, to the 'analysis of resurrection as a mode of being of (re)-birth'. (the metamorphosis of finitude). What the Son suffers, he transmits therein to His Father, who, in the force of the Spirit, achieves, for us, the Metamorphosis.
