Not surprisingly, the works from Latin America turn out to be pretty vivid and colourful. There seem to be no inhibitions or restraint - the dominant tones range from buoyant and humorous to downright aggressive and provocative. Whatever the tone may be, the visual impression is always striking. Apparently, the so-called Latin American lifestyle and climate have left their mark on these designs. This is just another proof that design and art are always influenced by the environment in which they are created. These particularities have been captured in this compilation of exceptional works from such diverse categories as poster design, advertising, and illustrations.
