Log Houses of the World

Richard Olsen, Radek Kurzaj

Résumé

Early praise for Log Houses of the World:

This is a useful and appealing book for designers, historians, and architectural enthusiasts on a venerable vernacular form as translated by professional architects into sophisticated design statements.
Richard S. Hines

The log cabin is the ultimate Arts and Crafts house, designed by nature and built by human hands. Richard Olsen's selection of historic and fairly recent examples is informative and well written. He enters a field that should have been studied long ago.
Robert Winter
