Jeffrey H. Matsuura is counsel at Alliance Law Group, LLC in Vienna, Virginia. He is a member of the Virginia Bar and the District of Columbia Bar who has sevred as counsel for several telecommunications and IT companies, including MCI, Discovery Communications, and COMSAT Corp. He is an appointed member of the National Task Force on Knowledge and Intellectual Property Management and of the Virginia State Legislature's Citizens' Advisory Panel to the Joint Commission on Technology and Science.

Jeffrey H. Matsuura is an assistant professor and director of law & technology at the University of Dayton School of Law. He also serves as counsel, Alliance Law Group, LLC. He earned his M.B.A. at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the University of Virginia. He also the author of Security, Rights, and Liabilities in E-Commerce and A Manager's Guide to the Law and Economics of Data Networks (Artech House, 2002, 2000).
