This text is developed and written for an
intermediate/advanced course in Operations Management or
Manufacturing Planning and Control. This course will be
found in the better undergraduate programs as `the second
Operations course', in the MBA curriculum as an elective,
or in Industrial or manufacturing engineering departments.
