Résumé
As the future is full of uncertainty, despite the barrage of information which we face, we need to accept inconsistency and built it into our decision making. The author advocates the application of four paradoxical principles: fuzzy thinking, muddling through, mess management and the technology of foolishness. The intuitive insights of modern thinking, together with the rational decision doctrine of classical science, can provide a balanced process for making choices today about tomorrow.
