RICHARD E. WESTNEY, P.E., is the Founder of Westney Consultants International, Inc., Houston, Texas. Widely recognized as a leading authority in practical project management, he consults for major organizations throughout the world and teaches thousands of professionals from over 65 countries his methods of managing projects. He is a former Visiting Professor at the Norwegian Institute of Technology, Trondheim; he is also an instructor at executive programs offered by Texas A&M University, College Station; Stanford University, California; and the U.S. Agency for International Development. He is the author of Managing the Engineering and Construction of Small Projects and Computerized Management of Multiple Small Projects (both titles, Marcel Dekker, Inc.)
