Résumé

The only way to develop high-performance 3D applications for Windows 95 or Windows NT, Direct 3D is a finished, powerful, and flexible library that allows developers to create amazing 3D applications while requiring only a minimal understanding of advanced graphics topics. Cutting-Edge Direct 3D Programming, the book that harnesses that power, could well become required reading for Direct3D developers who want to gear up fast. This book will appeal to both professional and amateur programmers. Direct3D isn't just for games; it's used to develop software of all types including architectural walk-throughs, medical imaging, simulators, education, scientific visualization, graphic modelers, imaging software, and virtual reality. Cutting-Edge Direct3D Programming will appeal to programmers developing a variety of software.
