Developing Enterprise Java Applications

With J2EE and UML

Khawar Zaman Ahmed, Cary E. Umrysh

330 pages, parution le 05/02/2002

Résumé

There are several excellent books on the UML. Many good books have also been written about the J2EE technologies. But anyone interested in applying the UML to J2EE must deal with learning about the UML and J2EE independently and without much context, and then try to reconcile on an individual basis the details of the two and how one might or might not apply to the other.

This book is intended to overcome the void described above. It does so by not only bringing together the key details of J2EE a& well as the UML, but also by defining, describing and discussing one in context of the other. An example is used throughout the book to guide readers through the application of the UML to J2EE.

Intended Audience
This book is suitable for:

  • Current J2EE application developers interested in applying UML to J2EE application development
  • UML practitioners interested in learning about J2EE in the context of the UML
