Before joining IITB, he worked as an Assistant Research Professor at the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS), Geosystems Research Institute (GRI) and also held an adjunct faculty position with the electrical and computer engineering department at Mississippi State University (MSU). Earlier, he worked as a Scientist at Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), ISRO, Govt. of India. He received his M.S. degree in remote sensing from Andhra University, India, in 1997 and PhD degree in computer engineering from Mississippi State University (MSU), MS, U.S.A, in 2006. Dr Jyoti Joglekar is Professor in Department of Computer Engineering in K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Vidyavihar, Mumbai. She holds a degree in 'Master of Computer Engineering' from University of Mumbai and a Bachelor degree in 'Electrical Engineering' from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. She possesses PhD from IIT Bombay in the area of 'Stereo Image Analysis of Satellite Images'. She has 25 years of experience in teaching undergraduate and post-graduate students of Computer Engineering. She also possesses few years of industry experience. Dr Joglekar is currently handling some research projects funded by research organisations in India.
