Introduction to Digital Image Processing

With MATLAB

Alasdair McAndrew - Collection Course Technology

510 pages, parution le 14/05/2004

Résumé

Introduction to Digital Image Processing with MATLAB provides an introduction to the field using a strong connection between theory and practice. Using MATLAB and its Image Processing Toolbox as the image processing environment, this text thoroughly explores topics such as matrices, spatial filtering, the Fourier transform, and morphology. All chapters include a plethora of examples, some of which are MATLAB-based, and all example images are accompanied by the appropriate MATLAB commands.

  • MATLAB and its Image Processing Toolbox provide a flexible, easy-to-use environment for image processing.
  • A discrete approach connects the calculus-based theory with its discrete implementation.
  • Ample example images in each chapter are accompanied by MATLAB commands.
  • Extensive exercise sets offer several types of hands-on practice.

L'auteur - Alasdair McAndrew
