Pete and Maura Kennedy make up The Kennedys, acclaimed
recording artists who have worked with Roger McGuinn, Nils
Lofgren, Nanci Griffith, Steve Earle and other world-class
stars. Their first CD, River of Fallen Stars (1995), was
awarded the "Adult Contemporary Award" by the National
Association of Independent Record Distributors, and their
next release, Life is Large (1996), was nominated for the
same award. Their other CDs, Angel Fire (1998), Evolver
(2000), and Positively Live! (2001), have earned rave
reviews from Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, The New
Yorker, The Village Voice, The Boston Globe, and The
Washington Post. They have won over fifty WAMMY awards from
the Washington Area Music Association, and have been
appointed artists-in-residence at Manhattanville College in
Purchase, New York, and at the John F. Kennedy Center for
the Performing Arts. The Kennedys produce their videos
