Résumé
The creation of intelligent agents in software has recently
become a large component of Internet-based computing. One
feature which is crucial to the success of these agent
systems is that they are platform-independent, or capable
of running on any type of computer present on the network.
The author of this book has written a programming language
called WAVE, which allows for device-independent
computation. The book, which is supplied with a software
package, includes several examples of WAVE applications for
solving problems in a distributed environment.
