PCI and PCI-X Hardware and Software contains the most
complete and correct detailed information on design to, and
compliance with, all of the PCI and PCI-X bus
specifications. It thoroughly covers hardware design and
the hardware and software requirements for systems with
multiple bridges and bus segments. Considerable space is
also given to signal line definitions and the functional
interaction between PCI resources. PCI and PCI-X Hardware
and Software provides a complete PCI overview, including
its relationship to the ISA bus, Plug and Play architecture
and the operation of PCI for both 32 and 64 data bit
