Pure Javascript
R. Allen Wyke, Jason Gilliam, Sean Michaels, Charlton Ting
Résumé
This book goes beyond the brief descriptions and short syntax snippets found in most other references and provides full, well-commented JavaScript examples for each documented object, property, method, collection, and event handler. This not only helps your understanding of the syntax, but also provides a contextual aid in determining how and why a specific object or method may be used.
Pure JavaScript includes:
- Well-commented, commercial-quality code
- A special reference section dedicated to serverside JavaScript, for both Netscape/iPlanet servers and Microsoft's' ASP environment
- Full coverage of client-side JavaScript and JScript in the Netscape, Internet Explorer, and Opera browsers
- Coverage of the newest Document Object Model (DOM) enhancements found in the latest versions of both JavaScript and JScript
- The entire text of the book in searchable Adobe Acrobat format (PDF)
