Jeff Van West is a freelance writer, a corporate trainer, and an instructional designer. He has developed manuals and training programs for applications in business, data management, and aviation. He has also worked internationally, facilitating collaborative projects on information technology and technical training. His last book for Microsoft Press was Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2: WWII Pacific Theater, published in 2000 as part of the Inside Moves series. Jeff lives with his wife and son in Seattle, WA.
