The Arts and Crafts Computer
Using Your Computer as an Artist's Tool
Résumé
The Arts and Crafts Computer is organized around three key sections. The first covers craft materials and tools—including digital ones—and lists resources for supplies. The second section imparts scanning, image editing, and typesetting skills. In the final section, you'll find inspiration and instruction—full-color techniques and projects that combine printed computer output with traditional media and tools to create mixed-media collages, family memorabilia, stationery, gift wrap and boxes, games, toys, and more. For design professionals who use computers for work, The Arts and Crafts Computer brings back the joys of working by hand. For crafters with little computer experience, these projects provide an easy entry into the digital world.
