Dr. Silvia Pfeiffer has worked on novel media technology for more than 15 years and is an internationally renowned expert in new Web video standards. Silvia is originally from Germany, but now lives in Australia.

Ancienne chercheuse en Sciences, Silvia Pfeiffer est spécialiste des contenus vidéo depuis les années 90. Elle est l'inventeur de la technologie Annodex (http://www.annodex.net), un format qui permet d'annoter et d'indexer des contenus multimédias.

Elle est actuellement consultante dans le développement d'applications avec contenus audio et vidéo, la standardisation et l'accessibilité de ces mêmes contenus.
