The Switch Book
A Complete Guide to LAN Switching Technology
Résumé
switching technologies available!
One of the hottest issues in LAN networking today is
making the change from bridging to
switching technologies. Written by an innovator who has
been at the forefront of networking
technology for more than two decades, this is a
comprehensive reference to LAN switching.
From selecting the best commercial switching products to
integration and management, it
covers all the bases for network planners, developers, and
managers. It reports on the latest
technology enhancements—including previously
unpublished information on Link
Aggregation, Virtual LANs, and Layer 3 switches. And it
supplies clear, step-by-step
guidance on how to apply switches to mixed technology
environments.
