The book will give a brief summary of AD compared to NT 4.0 and NDS. Once the groundwork is established for AD, there will be discussions about how to implement the different components and objects within AD. After the AD is established, there will be a discussion about how AD will interact with the other network services, such as DNS, DHCP, and WINS, as well as how to properly plan for the AD infrastructure, including Group Policy Objects, Delegate Control, administrative concepts, and installation considerations. There will be tips on how to avoid the most common traps of designing and implementing AD infrastructures. The final chapter will give real world AD design examples that have been implemented by some of the largest and most well known companies in the industry.

L'auteur - Neall Alcott

Neall Alcott has been designing, building, and managing networks for eight years, and is also an MCT who was been training students in the
Delaware Valley for the past four years. He is a senior systems engineer for Visalign LLC, a professional services firm specializing in web
solutions, web infrastructure, and managed services for enterprise-wide clients in the pharmaceutical, financial services, power/utility,
entertainment/media, emerging technology/growth, and state and local government industries. In Neall's current role at Visalign as an e-business
infrastructure architect, he plans and designs server architectures using Microsoft's .NET platform. Previously, Neall was responsible for
overseeing the Intel platform infrastructure at one client's North American headquarters and at 16 remote sites across the United States.
