L'auteur - Cynthia Maro Saracco
is a senior software engineer in the Advanced Database Technology organization at IBM's Santa Teresa Laboratory. She also teaches DBMS courses to graduate students and IT professionals through UC Santa Cruz's extension program. She has worked in the database field for 13 years, focusing most recently on object-oriented technology and its integration with relational DBMSs for universal database management. Ms. Saracco has published more than 40 articles and technical reports on database topics and is the coauthor (with Charles J. Bontempo) of Database Management Principles and Products, Prentice Hall, 1995.
