Who is Zora? Why did you leave such a desperate letter in a copy of the famous novel Perfume by Patrick Suskind? And how did this book end up in a book club in a small American town lost in the middle of nowhere?
Elaine Damon, a young journalist, finds herself to be the recipient of this letter. Touched by Zora's words, in which she recognises a soul mate, Elaine tries to piece back together the puzzle of events. Encouraged by her friends and her slightly loony mother, she immerses herself into the lives of two women involved in the glamorous world of fashion to discover an old puzzling affair...
During this journey, like a fairy tale, Elaine finds the love of her life when she least expected it. And her world suddenly feels more colourful and larger than life!
