Book Description Business Chinese: Advanced Reading is the reading course for advanced learners of business Chinese. It aims at helping students acquire knowledge about Chinese language, and commercial knowledge and culture, to improve their reading skills, commercial and cross-cultural communication skills. This series, suitable for classroom teaching and self-taught learners, pays close attention to the integration of traditional and modern teaching ideas and puts emphasis on the practicability of teaching. It shows the openness of teaching, attaches importance to covering many language styles and selects words with clear commercial characteristics on certain criteria. It is divided into two volumes. Each volume, based on topics, has 8 units, each with 4 lessons. The series of textbooks has altogether 64 lessons and is used in an academic year. This is Volume 1. About the Author Ms. Shen Shuying is the Director and Supervisor of Master candidates of the Department of Business and Trade, College of Chinese Studies, Beijing Language and Culture University. She was the Editor-in-Chief of The Word Syllabus of Business Chinese for Undergraduate Education and many other business Chinese textbooks.
