Sixty years later, to read the "Essay" again after so much having been written about the philosophy and the theology of history, is to resume contact with something truly essential and rediscover a stimulating freshness in our chaotic world. With generous loyalty, Jean Daniélou investigates the Scriptures and the Tradition.
