The Zaza people are one of the earliest inhabitants of Anatolia (modern Turkey) or Asia Minor and Mesopotamia. Today, this indigenous people is a forgotten part of history.Who are the Zazas?In which region of the world are they found? What is their historical evolution?Despite the many difficulties in having their ethnicity recognised, the Zaza people have been able to preserve a primordial element that proves their existence, their language: Zazaki.By analysing the ancient civilisations of the region, similarities appear between the Zazas and the Sumerians, the Hattis/Hittites, the Louvites and the Hourrites.
