Sister Jeanne Marie is well known to all those who have passed by Boscodon Abbey (Hautes-Alpes), for it was there that she developed her very personal policy of being a sister to all, whoever they may be, regardless of their difference. In this book, Sister Jeanne Marie explains her very dynamic approach to fraternity. Relationships thrive not only on difference, but on each person's evolution, even when the latter results in significant changes. Often, today's world leads us to reorganise our lives and commitments, sometimes deeply, to the extent that we are living increasingly different lives at various ages of our existence. Is this simply a concession to modernity, or is there some meaning to be found in it? Can fraternal and familial links simply survive, or, on the contrary, deepen? Having attained old age, Sister Jeanne Marie displays great human wisdom, composed of freedom, conviction and a genuine expertise in fraternity. These interviews were conducted at a moment when she herself was passing on to a new age of her life, as she left Boscodon Abbey for the retirement home where she now lives.
