Michka's confessions are a live interview of a survivor of the Nazi murderous machine. It unfolds the maelstrom of the bewildering escape of a then years old Jewish boy, who escapes from the Bialystok ghetto and ends up in the forest. There, he suffers from hunger, cold, pain and above all loneliness. In this icy universe, he suddenly comes up against a horde of wolves... Some gave me a sad look, without showing any particular hostility. I felt my body freeze and my heart pounding in anticipation of a sudden attack, which never came... This inevitably brings us back to the imaginary scaffolding of Misha Defonseca and his condemnation to oblivion of other innocent victims who truly lived amongst wolves and found themselves more alone and more abandoned than ever. How not to be skeptical after this scandalous invention of Defonseca? How to avoid our skepticism with regard to Michka's confessions and their reliability? All you have to do is to listen to Holocaust's survivors who lived for some time in the forest in order to understand that such an attitude of wolves was really experienced. The Israeli military radio Galei Tsahal has collected some testimonies during interviews with survivors... Or simply discover them on the internet.
