The sea was calm, and there was no swell. God was with us. We had a great day so far and had been in a naval battle since 8 am.#4 I decided to attack Casablanca with the 3rd Division and one tank battalion. It took some nerve, as both Truscott and Harmon seemed in a bad way, but I felt we should maintain the initiative.
