We feel like we have to follow a certain path and add more to our lives to live up to society's expectations.#4 We are not as damaged and insecure as we think we are. We just aren't aware of how our brains work, and we have stopped trusting ourselves. We are highly susceptible to panic and fear, and because there is nothing in nature that makes us more panicky and fearful than having a child, we have created a cultural loop of fear and reaction.
