Résumé

This book is an one semester course referring to the fabrication, analysis, design and applications of analog bipolar integrated circuits, with primary emphasis on operational amplifiers. It contains a short version of the text used for several years at the course of Analog Integrated Circuits for the 3rd year students of Electronics and Telecommunication Faculty from "Politehnica University" Bucharest, Romania.

The main components of the analog integrated circuits are analised: current sources, biasing circuits, differential amplifiers, output stages, protection circuitry. Construction and characteristics of operational amplifiers are thoroughly discussed, together with representative circuit configurations.

The material in the book is of an advanced nature and the reader should have the background of a two-semester introductory electronics course.
