Biographie de K.S. Thyagarajan
K.S. Thyagarajan, Ph.D. (or "Thyag") is currently a researcher with Micro USA in San Diego, where he works on the development of algorithms for use in processing remote surveillance images. Prior to Micro USA, Thyag worked as a principal engineer for Qualcomm, researching and developing high quality video compression systems for digital cinema applications. Thyag also spent twenty years as a tenured professor at San Diego State University, where he taught courses in analog and digital communications, digital signal processing, image processing, and many other related topics. He has more than thirty-five publications in the areas of image and video compression and pattern recognition. He holds four US patents in video compression and several more patents pending.
