is a senior software architect at Candle Corporation
working on products and services for Enterprise Application
Integration (EAI). Rhys has over 20 years experience in the
IT industry, primarily in software design, development, and
consulting. After a variety of development and consulting
roles within IBM, Rhys joined the team that developed IBM's
message queuing system, MQSeries, in the early 1990s, being
heavily involved in development of the UNIX and OS/2
versions of the product. Rhys is one of the three authors
of the original text on message queuing, Messaging and
Queuing Using the MQ1.
