Feature Filmmaking on a Home Computer
Graham Robertson - Collection Course Technology
Résumé
Feature Films: Many amateur filmmakers dream of having the money and technical resources to undertake such a project. Five years ago, they would've had to content themselves with dreaming about the possibility. Not anymore! The advent of mini-DV and lightning-fast home computers has opened up the world of feature filmmaking to any aspiring artist. You don't need Hollywood contacts or connections to create your own feature film-all you need is a computer, a camera, some videotapes, and this book. Covering everything from background plates and storyboards to pre- and post-production and marketing, this book will guide you on the path to successful feature-filmmaking. Follow along as Graham Robertson takes you through every step of the process, including nailing down the initial screenplay; navigating the production process; and editing, keying, and compositing your feature film. It's a ride you won't soon forget.
