L'auteur - Lawrence L.B. Angas
Major Lawrence Lee Bazley Angas was born in 1893 and served in the British Army during the Great War for which he received the Military Cross and Croix de la Guerre. After 1918, he entered the world of banking, finance and stockbroking in the London Stock Exchange. In the 1920s, he went to Wall Street to continue his career where he soon became recognized as a market guru. Ultimately settling in America; he eventually focused his attentions on the management of individual portfolios.
He wrote three books on finance including Investment (1930), Problems of Foreign Exchange (1935) and Investment for Appreciation (1936).
