He was Director of Knowledge Management and Asset Reuse at the IBM Global Services, in charge of knowledge management and asset reuse across IBM Global Industries and Services. He won the 1998 Gold Medal of Giga Excellence Award on knowledge management and business process for IBM's innovative implementation and strategic use of Intellectual Capital Management AssetWeb. He has published widely on knowledge management. Dr. Huang received his Ph.D. degree from M.I.T.
