Résumé

Provides a model for achieving medium- to long-term goals and dramatically increasing the rate of corporate innovation

Where do the re-engineering, merger and outsourcing-weary corporations go from here? The answer: they need to change through re-inspiration. Corporate re-inspiration posits a counter-force to recent changes—the re-assembly of the corporation, the re-establishment of the contract between employees and the firm. It teaches how to restore the collection of values, approaches, practices, and character that make a successful corporation unique and drive its differentiation. The author shows how a core ethic, combined with a set of simple tools, can be used by a corporation to harness collective belief and set a company apart from its competitors. Through-out the book the author applies lessons from the great religions of the world, investigating what has made those religions great and what lessons can be drawn from the institutions that have withstood the test of time.

Mark Coleridge Scott (London, UK) is an Executive Vice President of Lighthouse Holdings, a newly created global marketing communications group. Until recently, he was Operations Director at WPP Group plc., prior to which he worked for a number of years as a management consultant in Europe and the United States.
