This book is intended to raise the skill level of any user of Animation:Master by providing explanations and tutorials that illustrate many advanced techniques used to create believable characters and stunning images. Even if you own one or both of the first two books in this series, there is more to learn here.

Aside from providing an excellent desktop resource for those already familiar with Animation:Master, this book provides alternative methods and techniques for both modeling and animation, in addition to filling in the empty spots that the manual doesn't quite hit.

Animation:Master runs on both the PC and PowerMac, so the information contained in this book is applicable to both platforms. PowerMac users need to be familiar enough with the software to be able to compensate for the differences between PCs and Macs; most notably, the right-dick of a PC mouse, which is signified by Command Clicking on the PowerMac.

Both the PC and PowerMac versions of the software have the same tools located in the corresponding places of the interface. This makes it easy to move between the two if necessary.

It is not commonly known that Jeff derives pleasure by occupying his free time with diverting TVRD satellite transmissions, Rottweilers, his Yamaha XJ1100, Dremels, writing (yes, it's true!) and very occasionally, the company of another human. To date, he has written numerous articles for various private production, Computer Graphics World Magazine, 3D Artist Magazine, and has completed two successful books.
