Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) is the beginning-level Cisco Systems certification designed to validate and acknowledge the technical proficiency of individuals seeking to design Cisco networks. CCDA certification is a prerequisite for the professional-level CCDP and is a required professional accreditation for many Cisco employees and resellers.

Cisco CCDA Preparation Library is a boxed set of three books. It contains two books that comprise Cisco's suggested training path for the new CCDA exam: Internetworking Technologies Handbook, Second Edition and Designing Cisco Networks, along with the CCDA Exam Certification Guide.

The ITH and DCN books provide the requisite early training that CCDA candidates must receive to be up to speed on exam topics, and the Certification Guide is developed for comprehensive yet concise late-stage exam preparation.

L'auteur - Anthony Bruno

A. Anthony Bruno, CCIE #2738, is a Principal Consultant with International Network Services (INS) and a networking instructor for the University of Phoenix-Online, with over 11 years experience in internetworking. His other network certifications include CCDP, CWNA, MCSE, NNCSS, CCSE, and CNX in Ethernet. He has worked on the design, implementation, and optimization of large enterprise networks, wireless LANs, Voice over IP, and Internet access. He completed his MSEE from University of Missouri-Rolla in 1994 and his BSEE from University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez in 1990. Anthony is the author of CCIE Routing and Switching Exam Certification Guide, the co-author of CCDA Exam Certification Guide, and a contributor and the lead technical reviewer of Network Design and Case Studies, Second Edition, all from Cisco Press. He also performed technical reviews of the Cisco Press titles CID Exam Certification Guide and Internetworking Troubleshooting Handbook.

Diane Teare, CCDA, CCNP, is a consultant in the networking, training, and e-learning fields. Diane has over 20 years of experience in design, implementation, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software, and has also been involved in teaching, course design, and project management. Diane was the course director/master instructor for the Designing Cisco Networks (DCN) and Building Scalable Cisco Networks (BSCN) courses at Global Knowledge Network (Canada), Inc. and was recently the Director of e-Learning for the same company.
