Résumé

Cisco CCNP Switching Exam Certification Guide is a comprehensive study tool for Switching Exam #640-504. This Cisco-endorsed study guide covers all major topic areas and objectives for the exam. The book focuses on review of the concepts involved in constructing and running campus networks using multilayer switching technologies over high-speed Ethernet. Review and practice thoroughly cover four major areas: 1) overview and design of campus networks, 2) building campus networks, 3) managing network traffic, and 4) advanced topics. Chapter-opening quizzes enable readers to evaluate their knowledge of chapter topics and decide how much study they need in each chapter. Foundation Summary sections concisely outline major concepts for quick reference. Scenario-based exercises and chapter-ending review questions reinforce retention and recall of exam topics. Finally, practice questions on the companion CD enable candidates to build and take random sample tests.
