Résumé

The fundamentals of Java-based development to programmers who have designed and built agents in other languages are presented in this book. The authors aim to explain how to construct evolve agents capable of learning and competing. The first part of the book focuses on design principles for architectures that let agents reason, recognize events, model its world, and learn. The second half of the book develops actual code for: personal agents; network or Web agents; multi-agent systems; and commercial agents.
