This book takes readers from the most basic sprite movement
through tile-based scrolling map engines, voxel engines,
texture mapping, and 3-D first-person shooter engines. All
techniques are demonstrated using both standard Windows
programming techniques and Microsoft's DirectX game
development enviornment. The CD includes all of the
projects and example code found in the book; plus bonus
programs, shareware, and freeware games written in Delphi;
graphics and sound manipulation software; a collection of
royalty-free graphics, sounds, and music for use in custom
games; evaluation versions of Delphi game components and
graphics software; and other retail software
products.

He is a former officer of the Delphi Developers of Dallas users group and is the author of The Tomes of Delphi: Win32 Core API—Windows 2000 Edition and Delphi Graphics and Game Programming Exposed! with DirectX 7.0.
