Large-scale IP Network solutions
CCIE professional development
Khalid Raza, Salman Asad, Mark Turner
Résumé
Large-Scale IP Network Solutions (CCIE Professional
Development) is a core textbook for preparation for the
CCIE Routing and Switching exam track As well as CCIE
preparation, Large-Scale IP Network Solutions provides
solutions for network engineers as IP networks grow and
become more complex.
This book discusses all major IP protocols in depth,
including RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP. It
evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of each protocol,
helping readers to choose the right ones for their
environments. Special sections address scaleability,
migration planning, network management, and security for
large-scale networks. Router configuration examples,
network case studies and sample scenarios all help readers
to put the information presented in the book to use.
CCIE candidates will gain exam preparation through the following book elements: chapter-opening overviews of objectives; case studies that highlight real-world design; implementation, management and troubleshooting issues; configuration examples from actual network input and output; and review questions and exercises.
