L'auteur - Dave Phillips
A performing musician for over 30 years, Dave Phillips
became interested in computers as a means for playing,
editing, and recording music. He is an expert in MIDI,
Csound, and Linux. He later learned how to program the
so-called waveform compiler known as Csound, and today
still codes using MIDI programming languages, Csound, and
most recently cmix. He maintains several educational Web
sites on these topics including the Linux MIDI and Sound
Applications Page. An avid practitioner of t'ai chi, he
also enjoys reading classical and medieval Latin for
fun.
